Payment:
We accept – Mastercard, Visa, Visa Debit  (CASH is not accepted) 

Balance of payment due will be deducted from the  card details provided for the original deposit – within 3 days of arrival – when the booking becomes completely non-refundable and non-transferable.

(Day Of Arrival begins at 00:00 hours on the day of arrival)

If a third party booking wishes to be made (i.e. the card holder is booking for some one else – please contact us prior to making a booking – Tel 01298 24904 )

 

Deposit:

 

Independent Bookings FOR Bookings from 1 to 6 ROOM nights duration

(with the exception of bookings where “group booking conditions apply” OR/AND Fully Non Refundable rates as per booking documentation)

On the online booking payment page you will see the total sum of your stay. Please note that a deposit of £40 per room, is required for all bookings, and will be deducted from the card details supplied when you submit your payment details online.

For cancellation up to 72 hours “before” the day of arrival (Day Of Arrival begins at 00:00 hours on the day of arrival)  – your original deposit will be refunded.

This deposit will be deducted from your final account. Deposits can be made with credit/debit cards by telephone or by our secure      on-line booking form. Prices quoted include VAT.

Balance of payment due will be deducted from the  card details provided for the original deposit- within 3 days of arrival (Day Of Arrival begins at 00:00 hours on the day of arrival) – when the booking becomes completely non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

 

Independent Bookings FOR Bookings from 7 ROOM nights or more duration

 

On the  online booking payment page you will see the total sum of your stay. Please note that a deposit of £40 per room will be deducted from the card details supplied when you submit your payment details online. Within 28 days of arrival  (Day Of Arrival begins at 00:00 hours on the day of arrival) – the deposit becomes non-refundable and non-transferable.

For cancellation 28 days or more, “before” the intended arrival date (Day Of Arrival begins at 00:00 hours on the day of arrival) – your original deposit will be refunded.

This deposit will be deducted from your final account. Deposits can be made with credit/debit cards by telephone or by our secure      on-line booking form. Prices quoted include VAT.

The balance of the booking to be settled 28 days prior to arrival (within 28 days the balance and the deposit would then be completely non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of cancellation)

GROUP Bookings: (3 to 6 bedrooms)         

 

                                          
To secure a Group Booking of 3 to 6 bedrooms – we require a deposit of £40 per room for all bookings, and will be deducted from the card details supplied when you submit your payment details online. Within 28 days of arrival – the deposit becomes non-refundable and non-transferable.

For cancellation 28 days or more, “before” the intended arrival date (Day Of Arrival begins at 00:00 hours on the day of arrival) – your original deposit will be refunded.

GROUP Bookings: (7 or more rooms )     

To secure a Group Booking of 7 or more bedrooms – we require a NON REFUNDABLE deposit of £40 per room for all bookings, and will be deducted from the card details supplied when you submit your payment details online.

This deposit will be deducted from your final account. Deposits can be made with credit/debit cards by telephone or by our secure      on-line booking form. Prices quoted include VAT.

The balance of the booking to be settled 56 days prior to arrival (within 56 days – the booking would then be completely non-refundable / non transferable –  in the event of cancellation)

Balance of payment due will be deducted from the  card details provided for the original deposit, 56 days prior to arrival.

High Season, Weekends and Bank Holidays:
Please note that single night bookings at weekends and in the high season may not always be accepted.


Weekends: – please note that we usually require a minimum 2 nights stay.


Bank Holiday Weekends: – please note that we normally require a minimum 3 nights stay.

Please note that at weekends / festivals /peak season we do not provide discounted single occupancy rates – the full room price would apply.

 

CANCELLATION

 

Cancellation / Non-Arrival : DIRECT BOOKINGS ONLY 

This policy only applies for bookings made directly with the Roseleigh, over the phone or through our website (www.roseleighhotel.co.uk)

If the Roseleigh is open and you have an existing booking, then the standard  cancellation policy and general terms and conditions apply.

If you contract Covid- 19, have to isolate,  or any other medical condition (including family related)  it will still be necessary to charge in accordance with the cancellation policy.

If you are prohibited from travelling – e.g. the area within which you live is under lock down or transportation issues arise please note that if the Roseleigh is open and you have an existing booking, then the standard  cancellation policy and general terms and conditions apply.

Please refer to the cancellation policy on your booking confirmation for reservations made through  INDIRECT Booking Agents            (e.g. Booking Com , Expedia , HotelsCom, Agoda, Trip Advisor). Please contact them directly should you need to discuss any alterations or/and cancellations for bookings made with them.

When working with the online booking channels known as OTA’s – Online Travel Agents – (such as Booking.Com/Expedia/Hotels.com, Agoda, Trip Advisor etc) we must try and protect our small family run business by offering accommodation options with the terms and conditions that are clearly stated on those platforms. Those terms and conditions are more restrictive and less flexible.

 

Cancellation Policy: 
To avoid misunderstandings, all cancellations are acknowledged in written form and will be confirmed via e-mail, or letter.
Please retain the confirmation in the event of cancellation.

Bookings made directly with the Roseleigh

INDEPENDENT BOOKING (with the exception of bookings where “special booking conditions apply” as per booking documentation)

FOR Bookings from 1 to 6 ROOM nights duration :

For cancellation up to 72 hours “before” the day of arrival (Day Of Arrival begins at 00:00 hours on the day of arrival)  – your original deposit will be refunded.

For cancellation less than 72 hours  “before” the day of arrival (Day Of Arrival begins at 00:00 hours on the day of arrival) or in case of no-show or early departure, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Bookings are Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable in the event of cancellation.

If cancellation is as outlined above, we reserve the right to deduct balances outstanding/owing – payment will be taken from the credit/debit card used to secure the room/s with the initial deposit.

 

FOR INDEPENDENT BOOKINGS  from 7 ROOM nights or more  & GROUP BOOKINGS (3 to 6 Rooms) 

For cancellation 28 days or more, “before” the intended arrival date (Day Of Arrival begins at 00:00 hours on the day of arrival) – your original deposit will be refunded.

(with the exception of bookings where “special booking conditions apply” )

The balance of the booking is to be settled  28 days prior to arrival

(within 28 days of arrival – the balance and deposit are completely non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of cancellation)

FOR INDEPENDENT BOOKINGS  – GROUP BOOKINGS (7 to 13 Rooms) 

 

DEPOSIT IS NON REFUNDABLE & NON TRANSFERABLE 

The balance of the booking is to be settled  56 days prior to arrival

(within 56 days of arrival – the balance is completely non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of cancellation)

(Day Of Arrival begins at 00:00 hours on the day of arrival)

 

 

Absence:
No allowance will be made for temporary absence, meals not taken or for departure earlier than confirmed.

 

TRAVEL INSURANCE – especially for high value bookings, medical conditions, family related situations, Covid/Pandemic related issues AND/OR Group & Long Stay bookings where advance          non-refundable payment is required – we would recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover the cost of your visit .

If you contract Covid- 19, have to isolate,  or any other medical condition (including family related) it will still be necessary to charge in accordance with the cancellation policy.

 

For UK residents e.g.  Single Trip Travel Insurance  (it is also recommended to include Excess Waiver within a policy to maximise your cover. Please note this is just an example there are many other providers of travel insurance – it would always be your own responsibility to  check that a policy selected suits and covers your own requirements. Terms and Conditions apply to all Travel Insurance Policies which you need to check and see if they are acceptable to you.)

 

MINIMUM AGE – 18 YEARS 

 

Checking In & Checking Out Information 
CHECK IN – is from 4pm to 10pm on day of arrival. Please note that we do not accept check ins / arrivals after 10pm.
CHECK OUT – For the convenience of incoming guests we require rooms to be vacated by 10.30 am on the day of departure.

 

Please feel free to park your car or motorbike if applicable, should you want to arrive early into Buxton ( subject to availability). 

Please note there is no general public toilet at the Roseleigh, so please could you plan accordingly if toilet facilities are required prior to 4pm.

 

Parking:
Access to The Roseleigh car park is via Hartington Road. Up to nine spaces (subject to the way cars are parked) are available to the side and rear of the Roseleigh on a first come /first served basis (please note that we cannot reserve specific spaces) – parking is prohibited in front of the property for safety and access reasons. Additional parking is available nearby.

 

With regards Electric Car Charging Points – we do not have the facility to recharge at the Roseleigh, however please find a link to find :

WE DO NOT ALLOW THE CHARGING OF E BIKES ON SITE  (OR/AND E BIKE BATTERIES ON SITE DUE TO THE HIGH FIRE RISK ASSOCIATED WITH THEM)

as with all products using lithium batteries, there is a risk of fire, particularly for counterfeit, damaged or poorly modified e-cycles and batteries, or when the incorrect charger is used. Lithium battery fires can be particularly dangerous and hard to extinguish.

Walkers:
Would walkers please remove boots and dirty clothing before entering The Roseleigh. We will do our best to try and dry wet boots – please contact reception. Please note that we do not allow the washing of boots in the bedroom en suite facilities. 

 

Guest  Lounge – Hours of access from 0800 to 2200 hours  (please note outside of these hours the lounge is closed )

 

 

Valuables:
The proprietors cannot accept responsibility for loss of, or damage to, guests’ property both in the property or our Car Park and/or our back yard area.

Food Allergies & Intolerances – Please speak to our staff about the ingredients in your meal, when making your order.

We would respectfully ask our guests to refrain from using mobile phones and/or laptops in the breakast room.

 

 

Pets 

Please note that we do not accept pets of any description.

Nor can pets be left in vehicles within the car park of the Roseleigh and its grounds.

 

Non-availability of Accommodation

We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control e.g. force majeure , government directives, Covid 19 associated issues, pandemics. We would however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the duration of your stay. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

 

 

Health & Safety

 

Charging of Electrical Appliances and Electrical Equipment 

It is prohibited to leave electrical devices charging  or other electrical equipment plugged in (e.g. lap tops, tablets & ipads, and similar)  whilst unattended throughout the Roseleigh – as this is a high level fire hazard. We reserve the right to unplug items left unattended.

No Smoking:
By popular request, in the interest of comfort and safety of our guests we operate a “No Smoking” policy throughout the property (THIS INCLUDES  E-CIGARETTES / VAPES ). Should you choose to ignore this policy, you will be asked to leave and charged in full for your entire stay plus an additional £300 per bedroom . Payment will be taken from the card used to secure the room/s.

Window Restrictors 

Due to risk assessment procedures – non-adjustable window restrictors are fitted to all windows to prevent accidents.

The windows can be opened up to 100 mm or less

Window restrictors are not to be tampered with , for example not to be – removed or adjusted.

Damages: 

In the event of any damage to or loss (e.g. window restrictors/keys) of hotel property caused by the client(s), we reserve the right to charge to replace, repair or professionally clean the item(s) concerned as well as any associated costs. Payment would be taken from the credit/debit card used to secure the room/s with the initial deposit.

The proprietors reserve the right to amend, curtail or terminate any contract should the conduct of the person who is a party to that contract cause any detriment to the well-being or comfort of other guests, staff or the proprietors.
